The implementation of the ECO KNIGHTS project resulted from our deep interests, passion and striving to introduce positive changes in our environment and on a global scale. Our main goal was to build a strong ecological awareness both among project participants and the wider community we reach. We wanted people to understand how our daily actions affect the natural environment and what consequences our choices can have. Through our initiative, we also wanted to create new, innovative ideas that will serve as tools for environmental education. We see environmental education as having the potential to change the way people think about our planet and how we manage it. We want to inspire to take action to protect the environment and provide practical knowledge that will help project participants and other recipients become more environmentally responsible citizens. Our initiative was not an isolated effort, but it fits into the wider context of environmental protection activities.
