Objectives

The workshop and educational activities carried out in the project aimed at stimulating the personal development of participants (contents and questions prompted deep reflections, which participants could also discuss after the project in their environments with educators and teachers of such subjects as ethics, social studies and others) and had aimed at broadening young people's perspective of perceiving themselves in the surrounding world and were a response to the following diagnosed needs and problems of young people: a sense of incomprehension and rejection, a sense of alienation, a sense of abandonment (busy parents or incompetent parents), a sense of shame and guilt, low self-esteem (victims of mental and physical abuse over the family, parents' addictions), feeling of loneliness (emotional misunderstanding "no one understands me" intensified by the pressure "you have to pull yourself together"), the need for authority. The project "Youth vertigo, or how to build your own identity" had a high potential for building international cooperation, the aim of which was to support substantive dialogue in the field of supporting young people in dealing with difficult emotions and environmental threats, and non-formal learning as a driving force for sustainable social and social development. and the well-being of youth organizations and young people. The key objectives of the project were: - social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities due to social exclusion, difficult family relationships, lack of acceptance and others, to life giving equal opportunities and opportunities by working on strengthening their emotionality and self-esteem and rebuilding their self-confidence. Coexisting objectives of the project: - strengthening the capacity of organizations working with young people outside formal learning; - promoting non-formal learning activities in partner countries, in particular targeting young people with fewer opportunities, in order to increase participants' competence levels and ensure their active participation in society; - supporting the development of youth work in partner countries, improving the quality of work and increasing its recognition; - supporting the development, testing and initiation of educational youth exchanges - supporting cooperation across Europe's regions through joint initiatives; - strengthening synergies and complementarities with formal education systems or the labor market. Most young people living in the 21st century have everything that is conducive to the so-called feeling happy. Family warmth, home, school, a good and carefree life with family and friends. Looking at young people, we see free, happy people for whom the world is open and waiting for them to do something great in the future. And although we live in times when young people can feel safe because they have their rights, they have no reason to worry, not all young people can appreciate their carefree life because they feel existential anxiety caused by circumstances commonly indicated as uplifting and strengthening. And while in these circumstances some people see what builds and strengthens self-confidence, thanks to the opportunities that previous generations did not have, others see what threatens their self-confidence through patterns of fear of new opportunities, inherited from family homes, in accordance with the old belief that progress needs victims. And because no one wants to be a victim, they keep their heads low, which makes them victims of their parents' fears, which they have taken as their own. In response to the above challenges, thanks to the implementation of the project by the participants, we restored young people's self-confidence, strengthened their self-esteem, taught them how to manage their own emotions and instilled personal development as an indicator of their own happiness.
