“XXISTRIM - Building on the past, looking towards the future” was a project for European Solidarity Corps coordinators, mentors and educators, who evaluated their work and reflected on the current issues connected with international volunteering projects. The project strengthened the cooperation among partner organisations and supported the development of future projects. After two years of working mainly online and many coordinators experiencing zoom fatigue, there was a strong need to meet in person, reconnect and discuss current trends and changes in ESC projects. The project had the following objectives: To evaluate the past EVS/ESC projects and cooperation among partners To share good practices and tools in volunteering projects To reflect on new ESC priorities (inclusion, sustainability, youth participation and digitalisation) and ways how to include them in ESC projects To celebrate STRIM’s birthday, long-term international collaborations and European Year of Youth To create a new cooperation strategy for future ESC and Erasmus+ projects and to plan further activities.
