The goal of the project "Houston, We Have a Problem: A Debate on Youth Issues" was to engage young people from the Łódź and Poddębice regions in social life, with a focus on mental health support for youth. The project aimed to enable young people to hold a dialogue with decision-makers, influencing youth policy and contributing to the development of systemic solutions to support young people in coping with depression and other emotional challenges. A specific goal was also to raise social awareness about the issue of depression among young people and to strengthen the community's sense of social responsibility. Through workshops, meetings with psychologists, training sessions on self-presentation, and debates with decision-makers, the project sought to increase social awareness and actively involve young people in matters of their local community while shaping policies that support their psychological and emotional needs
