Objectives

Due to the changes that have occurred in recent years - pandemic, war in Ukraine, climate change, etc., young people in many places feel alienated, stressed and susceptible to emotional and mental disorders. The 21st century has presented many challenges to young people - from digital lifestyle through climate change - constant wars and political games - corruption or fake news - "bulling" and aggression in schools and in everyday life. The corona has caused an increase in depression and premature school leaving, as well as a general lack of ideas for further life, reaching for stimulants as an easy "fix" to the problem. After many conversations in youth groups and schools, we found several areas of interest for young people that could help them find their own path at the threshold of adult life. We found several areas of interest that fit into our activities and the priorities of the EU and Erasmus+. We have organized several European trips aimed at broadening the horizons and knowledge of 18-year-old participants, arousing new interests, encouraging a participatory lifestyle and building peace in the world by establishing new contacts/friendships during ecological trips around Europe. Young people interested in climate change, sustainable development, upcycling, healthy food and alternative energy sources went on trips to Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary to visit our friendly eco-farms and organic farming and processing centers. They learned about the differences between commercial and organic food farming. The impact that commercial crops have on climate and environmental pollution, and how up-cycling can be used to promote recycling and sustainable development. They established contacts and learned about opportunities related to small-scale entrepreneurship and the use of home gardens to cultivate plants and vegetables that support the fight against global warming and water-air-soil pollution.
