The aim of the project was to strengthen the process of internationalisation of the university and to develop cooperation with foreign partners. The project focused on expanding staff and student mobility – enabling students to undertake long-term traineeships and participate in full academic courses, while academic staff could deliver teaching modules and take part in international training. An important objective was also to enhance the quality and attractiveness of the educational offer by extending the network of partners to include new institutions and traineeship placements, such as high-class hotels and tourist resorts. The project aimed to foster the exchange of experience and know-how in the fields of management, administration, ecology, tourism and regional promotion, as well as to engage non-university institutions, in particular NGOs from Ukraine. A key result was the improvement of participants’ linguistic, professional, intercultural and social competences, increasing their competitiveness on the labour market. In addition, the project strengthened the prestige of partner universities and laid the foundations for sustainable international cooperation.
