Objectives

The project aimed to further enhance the internationalisation of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (NCU) through increased mobility of students and staff. According to original terms of the grant agreement, the plan was to carry out mobilities involving 67 participants: 24 students and 43 staff members. The new NCU Strategy identifies, among its main goals, strengthening of university’s international educational appeal and mobility of students and doctoral candidates, as well as ensuring proper conditions for delivering education at the highest level. Mobility projects under Erasmus+ perfectly support the implementation of these goals, primarily by continuously reinforcing the international dimension of NCU’s operations and by testing, updating, and providing new solutions for the organisation of international mobility. The direct goal of project’s implementation was to develop NCU’s international partnerships, to introduce new rules for the implementation of KA171 projects, and above all, to increase competences and knowledge of students and staff from both NCU and partner universities through international mobility and experience of functioning, even for a short time, in a different cultural and organisational environment.
