The primary objective of submitting the project for funding was: - the implementation of the internationalization strategy of educational processes at the universities participating in the project, - maintaining the long-standing academic, didactic, and scientific contacts between: (UMCS) PL LUBLIN01 – the project coordinator – and partner universities in Ukraine, Georgia, and Tanzania. The objectives of UMCS's project activities included: -increasing the number of direct contacts between staff of partner universities, -developing study abroad opportunities for its own students, -improving the quality of education, and -maintaining a high number of students studying at partner universities by increasing the number of exchanges and involving foreign students in the University’s short-term (semester) educational activities. The educational goal of foreign partners in the project was aimed at students studying full degree programs and focused on: -enriching the student mobility offer for studies in Poland, -developing educational programs both in the national language and in English, and -obtaining financial support for international contacts of academic and teaching staff.
