The project of cooperation with partner countries within the Erasmus+ programme was entirely coordinated by the International Relations office. University authorities, faculties and other administrative units were actively involved in the realization of the project. The main objective of the project was development and strengthening of the network of universities from non-European countries, caused by every year growing demand among both students and university staff for mobilities outside Europe. Partner universities also played an important role in the project, as they are more and more willing to broaden and tighten their cooperation with European universities. The aim of the project was to adjust students and university staff members to work in the international and multicultural setting by widening their knowledge and skills of fluent communication and free movement in the present world. Our goal was also to facilitate our partner universities’ students and staff to establish a tight and long-term cooperation with the University of Economics in Katowice.
