The implementation of the KA171 project was a key element of the University of Lodz’s internationalization strategy. The main goal was to establish and develop cooperation with partner universities outside the European Union, increase educational mobility for students, PhD students, and university staff, and expand the knowledge, skills, and competencies of project participants. Academic staff could enhance their teaching competencies by improving teaching methods and establishing contacts, which could lead to joint publications or research projects. Administrative staff improved the quality of services provided to international students by learning new solutions and exchanging experiences with other project participants. Students and PhD students gained access to new teaching methods, participated in courses unavailable in their country, and strengthened their intercultural and language skills. For most of them, participation in the program was a new experience, and without Erasmus+ funding, such mobility would not have been possible. Thus, the KA171 project was not only a tool for supporting the individual development of participants but also an crucial step toward building an open, inclusive, and global academic environment.
