The key objective of the University of Lomza’s participation in the Erasmus+ KA171-HED Programme was to support the international exchange of students and academic staff with the following partner countries: Albania, Georgia, Japan, and Kyrgyzstan, in order to enhance the internationalization of the institution and expand academic and professional horizons. The project, numbered 2022-1-PL01-KA171-HED-000077804, aimed at improving the quality of education, developing the skills of both students and staff, and adapting curricula to the needs of the labour market. Participants gained the opportunity to exchange experiences, learn new teaching methods and practical skills, and establish international contacts. The Programme contributed to fostering intercultural tolerance, independence, and self-confidence, as well as transferring the knowledge acquired abroad onto their home environment. The long-term impact was not only the internationalization of the institution but also the enrichment of the local community through an openness to diverse cultures.
