Participation in international exchange programs is a priority for the Krakow University of Economics (KUE). The Erasmus+ program has a positive impact on the internationalization of the university as an institution open to international affairs, and, as a result, makes its educational programs more attractive. This can translate into greater recognition of the university among external institutions, as well as an increase in the number of potential students. The objectives set out in the project, namely to increase the internationalization of the institution by 1) increasing the number of incoming students, 2) internationalizing educational programs by implementing new solutions drawn from cooperation with foreign partners, were achieved by sending teaching staff abroad to conduct classes, administrative staff for training, and foreign students under the Erasmus+ KA171 program. The implementation of the Erasmus+ KA171 project enabled the creation of a network of contacts and greater recognition of the university, thus expanding opportunities for the exchange of experiences, the creation of joint projects, and the improvement of educational programs. According to the KUE, the objectives set out in the project have been achieved.
