The project, just like the previous ones, was prepared with a view to further development of existing cooperation with proven, long-term partner universities and intensification of international educational exchange, also by expanding the circle of partner universities and the geographical scope of cooperation. The priority of the University of Silesia in all activities related to international educational exchange is also to expand the range of fields of study and academic fields covered by cooperation and to intensify exchange in less represented fields. It was assumed that exchanges would be carried out with universities from all partner countries with which exchange was possible under the approved project. Out of the 18 countries included in the project, exchanges were carried out with universities from 9 countries. Similarly to the Erasmus+ KA107HE/2020 project, the priorities and priority directions of exchange had to be modified due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The above resulted in the need for far-reaching modifications to the plans adopted when planning the project implementation and submitting the application in 2022.
