The main goal of the project "You can make a Change!" is to increase civic engagement among young people aged 16-19 by popularizing the concept of the civic budget and enabling them to actively participate in decision-making processes concerning local communities. We also aimed to enhance the competencies of young people in project management, collaboration with local authorities, and building environmental awareness by encouraging the creation of eco-friendly projects. Another goal was to strengthen international cooperation between the Antares Foundation and the Youth Entrepreneurship Club, which was intended to contribute to the development of both organizations' skills in implementing educational projects on an European scale.
The project was created in response to the need to increase civic engagement among young people and popularize the concept of the civic budget. Young people, especially those aged 16-19, often face barriers such as the complexity of administrative procedures or a lack of knowledge, which limit their ability to act on behalf of local communities. The Antares Foundation recognized the need to support young people in developing project management skills. Additionally, the organization aimed to leverage its experience in international projects to enhance cooperation with the Youth Entrepreneurship Club. The project addressed the needs of both partners in expanding their networks and increasing the competencies of the project team members.
