Objectives

Objectives of the project: to encourage young people to be more involved as citizens of the European Union, by giving them the experience about how they can participate and take advantages on it; to provide the youthworkers with new tools to improve their work and to be more supportive towards young people; to spread the knowledge at the local level about what is youthwork in terms of project design, management and implementation, increasing NGOs human capabilities.

Background

Our project, motivated by the 11 European Youth Goals, aimed to strengthen connections between the EU, youth, youth organizations, and European programs, emphasizing quality learning. Our bottom-up approach focused on understanding local youth needs to later address these needs, through tailored-made workshops. The project seeked to equip youngsters with knowledge about EU opportunities as European mobility (a crucial tool for promoting social inclusion and youth participation), and to nurture interest in political, social, and civic issues. The project aligns with participating organizations' needs by promoting European opportunities locally, boosting volunteer participation, and supporting professional development. Poezja emphasizes engaging young people in dancing and sports for personal and professional growth. Brisa aims to raise awareness of European possibilities, increasing volunteer participation and expanding local impact. ATIC, focusing on disadvantaged youth, addresses economic and social challenges through formal and non-formal activities. The project provided all partners with an opportunity to enhance international partnerships, broaden its areas of action, and involve more young people in European projects.
