Objectives

The priority skills to be implemented in the group were determined: digital skills of teachers and students; digital assessment practices; preparation of tasks based on the use of ICT in order to enhance the teaching, learning and assessment process. The organization intended to invest in the training of teaching staff and adult education staff: to encourage and support teachers in experimenting with innovative ways of developing teaching practice using digital technologies, specifically within the scope of digital assessment and gamification. It was the task of the leaders and teachers of adult education (and not only) in this Group to adapt teaching to the demands of the current digital world and make it stimulating in the eyes of a 21st century student, hence our option for gamification, in which they use typical game elements, but in non-game situations. As for pedagogical assessment, it was important to recognize their regulatory role in developing autonomy in students, making learning more effective. The assessment processes were, therefore, more supported by technology, assuming an innovative role in increasing learning and relevant in supporting student learning.

Background

The group's lines of action include assessment for improvement, inclusion combined with citizenship, sustainability and the use of ICT. In these areas we have specific programs that we implement at various levels of education. We have a training offer where ICT was still barely present in educational environments and in projects. In an increasingly digitalized world, education in general, and adult education in our Group, faced the challenge of adapting to new technologies to improve the learning process. Thus, the Erasmus+ project developed played a crucial role in promoting international cooperation and educational innovation. It aimed to enrich the educational experience of adults, improve the digital skills of everyone involved and create more accessible and effective learning opportunities. This meant that participants had the opportunity to develop digital skills, explore innovative pedagogical approaches that have been applied to adult learning. It was important to provide adults with flexible learning methods adapted to their needs and interests, while also promoting collaboration and interaction between participants.
