AEFGA, located in S. Domingos de Rana, has 2000 students and includes 6 educational establishments. The group serves a population with a low socioeconomic context, with a very significant immigrant population, with low qualifications and low educational expectations. The group has students who display a satisfactory educational pathway and others with learning difficulties or special educational needs. We seek to encourage new ways of learning and teaching that explore digital technologies and develop the student's capacity as an agent in their learning process, as postulated by the OECD in the context of the Learning Compass 2030, referring to the idea that by having an active role, this will increase your enjoyment of learning. To achieve this, we consider it essential that teachers undertake training in this area. Students’ participation in transnational mobility is an opportunity for them to strengthen their European awareness, their notion of multiculturalism and plurilingualism, besides providing them with enriching experiences, especially for those who have fewer opportunities due to the socioeconomic context in which they find themselves.
