Improving teachers' skills through quality European training. Improving academic results and preventing dropout Early school dropout is a complex, dynamic, and multifaceted phenomenon resulting from a combination of social, economic, educational, and familial factors, often associated with socio-economic disadvantages. It is rarely a sudden decision and typically represents the visible outcome of a long process of failure and progressive disinterest in education. Young people drop out of school early for various reasons, each specific to the individual. Some drop out due to personal or family problems, others due to health or emotional difficulties; some feel dissatisfied with their schooling - for example, the curriculum and teaching methods may not meet their needs, they may have poor relationships with teachers or peers, they may face peer pressure, or there may be a negative school climate. Nevertheless, in the case of our school, early school dropout seems to follow certain patterns, and some young people are considered more at risk than others. Better teachers, better results.
