AESA is a school cluster that, in daytime teaching, includes 5 schools: 2 pre-school, 1 1st cycle school, 1 2nd and 3rd cycle school and 1 secondary school from which students can choose through humanistic scientific courses or professional courses. Among the values defended by the grouping of schools are innovation, inclusion and sustainability, which are the cornerstones of this project. The implementation of the project was carried out with 9th grade students and 11th grade Science and Technology students. The basic theme was “Sustainable Development”, with topics such as the sustainable production and use of energy; global warming and its consequences; the use of plastics: the inherent dangers and sustainable alternatives to plastic. These themes were associated in partnership with the IES Federico García Lorca school in Churria de La Vega, Granada, Spain, and with the Yhteiskoulun lukio school, Joensuu, Finland. The Ciência Viva Club of the 2nd and 3rd cycle Basic School was also part of this partnership, as well as the Erasmus KA220 project “Recycling Makes the World Go Round”.
