Objectives

In implementing this project, our school has set itself a number of objectives: - To promote training activities for teachers aimed at developing and/or consolidating technological skills. - To improve and strengthen the participants' language skills in order to develop active and democratic citizenship skills by reinforcing intercultural education and respect for differences. - Strengthening school inclusion through the use and application of innovative methodological and technological skills aimed at valuing differences and personalising knowledge. - Providing more attractive and motivating lessons for students and presenting active and more inclusive teaching. - Promoting teamwork, cooperative learning, interactive international collaboration, encouraging intercultural dialogue and transmitting the values of European citizenship. These objectives are being developed by the teachers who took part in the mobilities, and who have passed on the knowledge acquired to the teaching staff at subject group meetings, and reflected in the increased level of digital skills and the differentiated approaches that make lessons more dynamic.

Background

Our school has focused on developing new learning environments with the implementation of digital technologies. After analysing training needs, we aim to foster new methodologies, with the acquisition of skills and innovative pedagogical practices, carrying out structured training courses and job shadowing for teachers, and thus making contact with different pedagogical approaches and European education systems. Professional training is a continuous process of lifelong learning, and teachers and non-teachers need to update their knowledge and skills as society evolves, to prepare for their professional activity and to improve their performance. In this way, a school's success depends to a large extent on its organisational development and teaching practices, which are strongly linked to the teachers' training paths and their vision of the school, which is why the training offer plays a key role in the development of these professionals. The European dimension and respect for difference are valued in this project, with an impact on the modernisation of teaching practice and the internationalisation of the school
