The main objective was to improve the quality of education in the group, responding to identified weaknesses in terms of students' personal development, motivation and interest in learning. Specifically, the following objectives were achieved: - Improving the quality of teaching, providing teachers with skills and knowledge in areas such as digital literacy, inclusion and well-being, teaching methodologies, and socio-emotional intelligence. - Promotion of internationalization, establishing European partnerships, which allowed expanding knowledge and practices at a personal and professional level. - Valuation of the key skills listed in lifecomp. and PASEO, fundamental in formal, informal, and non-formal education, focusing on digital skills, communication, problem-solving, and intercultural awareness. - Modernization of the school concept through the adoption of practices, using technologies, multiple literacies, pedagogical approaches, and an international perspective, which highlights a dynamic learning culture, benefiting teachers and students. - Training of Teachers/Technicians in which a culture of innovation is promoted to better perform their duties.
The Mindset 2.0 project was an answer to AE Almeirim's need to develop pedagogical skills, collaboration practices, and the institution's internationalization. In a post-pandemic context, the school adopted the importance of implementing new educational projects and adapting methodologies and strategies to student profiles. In innovative activities, whether in training courses or job shadowing, the importance of providing teachers with professional skills relevant to the 21st century was highlighted, such as digital literacy, active, innovative teaching methods, and also socio-emotional skills. Participation in the Erasmus+ program involved involvement and collaboration, on a European dimension, based on a sharing of methodological practices and strategies. Thus, the continuous development of teachers was prioritized, providing an opportunity for professional and personal growth, in terms of experiences in diverse contexts, which allowed the appreciation of different perspectives, inclusive, multicultural, and sustainable approaches, leading to the adoption of new practices in the context of the group.
