Objectives

Recognition of the importance of vaccines in normalizing economic, political, cultural and social life on a global scale; The development of digital and linguistic skills in a foreign language; Articulation of knowledge; Promotion of exchanges with foreign countries for mutual knowledge.

Background

The speed with which vaccines emerged to combat the pandemic and the consequent distrust associated with them, led many people to avoid being inoculated. Since the school is the educational institution par excellence, it was proposed to demystify, clarify and value them in the fight against this scourge. Integrated in a rural region, where knowledge and information are not properly valued and fake news is taking on ever-increasing proportions, quickly disseminated through social networks and to which most of the population has access, we decided to treat this matter with due relevance. . Exploring the theme “Vaccines” with the students allowed them to develop analysis skills, critical thinking, argumentation skills and recognition of the value of vaccines in personal and collective protection. Understand that the safety of vaccines results from a great quality control and that there are very few adverse reactions directly associated with vaccines.
