Acquiring formal and non-formal skills in line with the needs of the job market, increasing the technical-pedagogical and technical-administrative skills of the teaching and non-teaching staff involved in vocational courses, acquiring new teaching and learning methods and approaches, overcoming skills mismatches and responding to the needs of the job market, and developing international relations and cooperation.
Colégio Rainha D. Leonor is located in the city of Caldas da Rainha, in the Western Region, district of Leiria, in a commercial, industrial and rural environment. The group of students is heterogeneous, ranging from pre-school to 12th grade. In terms of vocational education, Colégio Rainha D. Leonor offers the following courses: Educational Action Technician, Sports Technician, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations and Advertising Technician, and Contemporary Dance Interpreter Technician. The choice of these training offers is linked to the local business and cultural fabric. The aim of these courses is to effectively prepare students for the world of work, seeking to establish partnerships and protocols that allow them to connect with the job market from an early stage. With this project, we're trying to improve and enrich some technical skills in different areas, as well as providing them with successful, motivating and enriching experiences from the point of view of their personal and professional development, which they wouldn't be able to achieve if it weren't for this type of project, due to family financial issues.
