This project's main goal was not only to improve the abilities and competences of students and staff members but also to allow us to explore the majority of the activities that erasmus can provide us. Our intention was to increase social competences among students and staff. The sense of belonging and teamwork is fundamental in a school everyday job.
Our school is a multicultural school where the foreigner students are more than 40%. This project is very importnat for EPO, because it allows our students to work soft skills such as the sense of belonging to a class, a school and a community not onçly for foreigners students, but also for portuguese students. Through this project we allow our student to improve their social and personal competences, such as emphaty and respect for the differences. This is how we see this project. We are also a school with 300 students, whose possibilities of travelling or meeting new countries are very reduced and Erasmus also allows them to have new experiences, getting to know and relating to new cultures and people.
