Objectives

The Fernando Barros Leal Professional Agricultural School (EPAFBL) was founded in 1989 in Runa, Torres Vedras. Our actions are governed by the following basic values: Quality, Flexibility, Balance and Dynamism. In addition, the priorities of the educational project are to affirm the school's identity and guarantee the consolidation of its action. Our training offer consists of Level II, IV and V courses, the latter in partnership with the Escola Superior Agrária de Santarém. This project focused on the Level IV course "Agricultural Production Technician". Our students are aged between 15 and 20, and the majority are male. Our school has approached internationalization as something fundamental for our students to come into direct contact with different and multicultural realities, preparing them for the challenging global market. Therefore, we want to ensure that our students have had contact, many for the first time, with international and challenging contexts to prepare citizens and professionals completely in tune with the European reality.
