EPF was inspired by the European Year of Youth 2022 to make its first participation in the Erasmus+ Programme, an effective step towards our mission to improve the quality of the educational process, in line with the objectives and priorities, and to respond to the needs of the market. The project enabled: 1)The school's internationalisation process: - consolidate and diversify our network of partnerships; - contribute to a better strategic positioning of the school in relation to its counterparts; - expanding our network of partners through contact with new institutions and/or sharing contacts and publicising this project; 2)Developing actions that enable the acquisition of student-centred skills: - increasing the technical, cultural, linguistic, social and relational skills of our students, thus helping to improve their school results, especially those of the participants, and consequently their self-esteem and employability; - combating school failure and dropout; - increasing the appreciation of difference and promoting social inclusion, as well as their social, relational and adaptability skills.
Since July 1991, EPF has been developing Vocational Training and Education Courses. In line with EQAVET, EPF has achieved +90% employability, ranking 1st in the municipality and 8th in the country among all vocational training schools. EPF recognises international mobility as one of the most successful mechanisms for preparing its students to work and live in an increasingly globalised world, as well as for acquiring or consolidating transversal skills, namely: mastery of foreign languages, autonomy, initiative, intercultural sensitivity and international awareness. In addition, the mobility of trainees and teaching and non-teaching staff is a key element of our school's internationalisation policy and its strategy for developing human resources and promoting employability, which is especially fragile among young people. Finally, the EPF considers internationalisation to be a key aspect in promoting the quality of its teaching projects and in developing disciplinary or technical areas that require greater innovation. This mobility project is therefore expected to have a positive impact on the academic, personal, cultural and professional career of the trainees.
