By applying the European Skills Agenda through exposure to real work experiences, trainees could acquire skills (linguistic, digital, personal, transversal, and professional) that will increase their employability and career prospects, environmental sustainability, and European values in order to enable them to play a constructive role in their community. With the partnership networks we have established with the training organizations, we are able to promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices, support the mobility of trainees and accompanying teachers, promote internationalization and strengthen the international dimension of education and training, and improve the quality of teaching, curricula, and social activities. Promote intercultural awareness and make our trainees aware of the wide variety of EU languages, while promoting democratic and civic society values, equity, social cohesion, and active citizenship among the trainees.
During the European Year of Youth 2022, CEARTE intended to participate with this project to fill in a set of needs felt by the school in its mission to provide quality professional training and a social context that requires modernization, internationalization, integration of technology and digital tools, and creating remote education to face the challenges of the pandemic. We applied for this project out of our belief that through education and training in transversal and entrepreneurial skills, young people could be better equipped to apply for jobs, be self-employed and contribute to an organisation's innovative and competitive capacity, making Europe more productive, with significant ability to maintain jobs and create new jobs. Through this project, in line with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme, we could promote the performance of basic, transversal and relevant digital skills of trainees from a lifelong learning perspective.
