Objectives

In line with our European strategy and the European Charter, we have finalized the implementation phase of the EWP. The tools provided by the UNI Foundation were applied, which once again proves that there is a joint European effort to establish common development criteria within the scope of Erasmus. As has happened since 1995, Lusíada University has benefited from this support, and this fact is reflected in the number of interinstitutional agreements that have recently been signed. This joint effort results in an increase in OUT mobilities, one of the biggest strategic concerns. Also on the issue of inclusion and support for students with few possibilities, the Board of Directors has made a significant effort to financially support mobile students, reducing their costs with monthly or annual fees. With regard to the signing of new protocols, a greater effort was also made to compensate for the interruption of the 20/21 and 21/22 academic years, seeking to extend the current agreements to other European spaces, which was achieved, even though the war in Ukraine and the conflict in the Gaza Strip have conditioned some of our protocols. The organization of the BIP in Jazz and Modern Music also raised the commitment between the University and civil society to levels of excellence, which is one of the programmatic lines of our international action.
