With the implementation of the project it was possible to contribute to increasing the internationalization activities of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, enabling our students and staff to have an international experience, specifically within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program, thus allowing them to come into contact with different realities and international contexts at various levels. For many students this experience has allowed them, on the one hand, to have a new vision and contact with other cultures, and, on the other hand, to develop new personal and academic skills that will be a differentiating element in their academic career, which is highly valued by employers. From a staff point of view, mobility is extremely important in terms of defining contact networks, opportunities for cooperation and for the development of international projects under the Erasmus+ Program or other initiatives. These activities also allow the possibility of working and sharing experiences and knowledge with other Higher Education Institutions that are facing or have faced the same challenges, thus providing an opportunity to share good practices and solve problems.
