Objectives

P.Porto is the largest Polytechnic in the country with 24 research centers, more than 21,800 students, 60 undergraduate courses, 74 master's degrees, 31 CTESP and 3 doctorates. It should be noted that P.Porto expanded its Training Portfolio in 2024, integrating doctoral courses under Law No. 16/2023 of April 10th. Over the last 39 years, it has built and solidified a universe made up of several units and services. The eight schools constitute the dynamic axis of an open, challenging and multicultural community and transform a complex of laboratories and modern equipment into living entities. Involvement in two mobility projects per academic year (individually and in a consortium) provides more opportunities for students to acquire additional skills through study or internship abroad, encouraging international cooperation to boost higher education performance. Participating in ERASMUS+ enhances participation in development and networking activities, the strengthening of international organizational capacity and the creation of transnational cooperation partnerships with organizations from other countries, in order to produce innovative results and share best practices.
