Objectives

The Erasmus+ mobility project at our institution aimed to foster the ongoing professional development of both teaching and non-academic staff while providing students with enriching opportunities to engage with diverse cultural realities and various teaching and learning contexts. This initiative was designed to enhance the competencies of all participants—students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff—contributing to our broader internationalization strategy, a key pillar in the institution's development. For students, from all cycles and degrees, the project sought to cultivate essential personal, professional, social, and intercultural skills, ultimately enhancing their motivation and academic performance. By exposing them to different educational environments, we aimed to instill a deeper awareness of cultural diversity, thereby contributing to a more cohesive and better Europe. Simultaneously, the project focused on empowering teaching and non-teaching staff by providing opportunities to develop new skills, learn innovative tools, and increase their overall job satisfaction. We anticipated that the fresh ideas and competencies acquired by staff participants would not only facilitate their personal growth but also boost our institution's potential forward, as they would share their insights and bring new perspectives to their roles. Overall, this project represented a significant step towards enhancing the competencies of our academic community while reaffirming our commitment to international collaboration and educational excellence.
