Universidade de Lisboa collaborates with several national and international partners, developing mobility, teaching and research projects. According to its Erasmus Policy Statement, mobility is a key component of ULisboa's internationalisation strategy, and the institution aims to significantly increase the number of participants (students from all cycles, teachers and staff) and diversify its mobility activities. This project also aimed to meet the objectives of the Erasmus+ program, in terms of accessibility and inclusion of audiences such as fewer mobility opportunities (students with economic difficulties, and special needs, among other obstacles), sustainability and promotion of green mobility, of digitalization and digital transition (although the connection to the EWP is not yet consolidated, ULisboa is developing conditions - in its IT system - to complete the connection during the first half of 2024-25), and at the level of civil participation . The project also supported the implementation of the alliance of European Universities, Unite! allowing a high number of mobility activities for studies, internships, teaching and training between partner institutions. Participation in the Program has been fundamental for the internationalisation of the institution. The mobility of students, teachers and technical and administrative staff has consisted of a flow of people, knowledge and learning, which has shaped the organizational structure of the university campus and academic activities themselves, providing the University with a permanent international focus. Mobility activities contribute to the training of participants, making them more aware and participatory citizens, with global skills.
