ISPGaya is a small, privately held, polytechnic institute, with a strong local implementation. We teach CTeSP (EQF Level 5), bachelor degrees degrees (EQF Level 6) and masters (EQF Level 7) in diversified scientific areas (from engineering to tourism). The strategic plan approved points out the internationalization of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) as one key element. The benefits we can achieve from it are significant. Erasmus+ is one essential element in the internationalization process of ISPGAYA. With Erasmus+, the main objective was to promote the internationalization of the students, through students mobilities for studies and for traineeships. Additionally, we also wanted to increase the participation of academic staff and from non-academic staff in projects that involve other European institutions (partner institutions) and involve students in such efforts. With this particular project, the objective was to increase the number of mobilities and to diversify the type of mobilities for students. As for staff, participation of staff in projects promoted by our partner HEI was the main goal. The recent development of BIP and short term mobilities is one aspect that we look at with a significant relevance. We do consider it to be a significant improvement for the execution of the Eramus+ project. Additionally, mobilities outside of europe are also extremely important for us. We have made recent efforts to expand our international presence in Brasil, USA as well as with other south american partners. The funding we get from Erasmus+ is crucial for those efforts.
