The project continues the implementation of the internationalization policy of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (IPCB), in terms of international mobility of students, teachers and non-teachers, and also in the implementation of an application for the EU European Universities (ERASMUS+) financing line), with IPCB joining the “BAUHAUS4EU European University Alliance” consortium. The execution was based on existing partnerships between the IPCB and several European partners with which it has maintained cooperative relations over the years, as well as the establishment of new partnerships. The project focused on achieving the objectives of the Erasmus action (KA1), such as increasing the attractiveness of EU Higher Education, and supporting the internationalization and modernization of HEIs in a global context. The partner HEIs have previously agreed and committed to these objectives, including them in their internationalization strategies, in line with the principles that guide the European higher education space and in particular with ECHE, focusing on the importance of transferring knowledge, scientific research, recognition of skills and connection with the job market.
