Overall objective: to be one of the instruments for strengthening Iscte's internationalization strategy, as reflected in the ECHE Charter. Strategy pillars: increase exchange and collaboration with HEIs in partner countries through student and staff mobility, by creating collaborative working clusters with a view to creating joint degrees, research projects, double degrees, and thematic networks for future Erasmus Mundus Master's degrees. General objectives: strengthening the sustainability of the internationalization strategy of Iscte and its partner universities; responding to common challenges with other international partners, exploring geographical and cultural frontiers that were not part of Iscte's ‘traditional’ partners; promoting academic, economic, and social development through the contribution of academia to new social and economic challenges; laying the foundations for capacity-building projects for HEIs in partner countries by creating new networks between teachers and institutions, with a special focus on PALOP countries; developing better conditions and tools for managing human capital mobility; increasing the attractiveness of education at Iscte (EU) and its partners for each of the regions.
