The project 2022-1-PT01-KA171-HED-000078389 (Mobile22) was the first Erasmus+ ICM coordinated by the University of Porto in the 2021-2027 funding period. Implemented in a challenging post-pandemic context, it stood out for its global scope, involving 71 HEIs from 22 partner countries across four continents. The main objective, ensuring the sustainability of international cooperation with strategic partners outside Europe, was fully achieved, promoting academic collaboration, sharing administrative best practices, and enhancing the Portuguese language. The project also fostered scientific cooperation in priority areas for partner countries’ development, resulting in mutual enrichment and new institutional and individual projects. Erasmus+ priorities - inclusion, sustainability, and digitalization - underpinned all activities, ensuring broad impact. The partnership included countries with diverse economic profiles, with low- and medium-low-income countries as primary beneficiaries.
