With this project, the Polytechnic University of Coimbra (PUC) aimed to strengthen international cooperation with higher education institutions outside Europe through the mobility of students and staff. Through this project, PUC sought to create more opportunities for learning, teaching, and training in diverse academic and cultural contexts. The main objectives of this project were: -to promote mutual understanding and dialogue between partner institutions in different regions; -to enhance the professional, personal, and intercultural skills of the beneficiaries; -to support the modernization and internationalization of partner institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, the South-Mediterranean region, Asia, and the Caribbean; -to provide beneficiaries with opportunities for professional development, pedagogical innovation, and joint research; -to contribute to the inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities, ensuring that international mobility is accessible to all. By achieving these objectives, the project sought to reinforce long-term partnerships, foster networks for knowledge transfer, support sustainable development in the partner countries, and promote European citizenship, in line with the principles of ECHE.
