The initial aim of implementing the project was to identify the causes of low motivation and commitment that hindered our students' performance and how these causes could be combated. The presence of the University in the project provided scientific substantiation and validation and shed light on new ways forward. The sharing between schools from different countries with different cultural backgrounds was intended to further enrich learning and improve teachers' pedagogical practices. Finally, the aim of this project was also to provide teachers with pedagogical tools in the area of project-based learning.
Today, there are many challenges for schools faced with a huge variety of students. Competing with a world full of stimuli and making students want to learn is one of the most difficult tasks teachers face today. It's well known that quality and solid training is the key to professional and personal success. Unfortunately, schools are currently finding it very difficult to instil in students the desire to learn and the commitment needed to achieve quality results. By applying for this project, the school aimed to improve its teaching practices, improving students' motivation and commitment and fostering higher quality education and training. In addition to sharing pedagogical practices with other countries, a higher education institution was involved, which provided scientific support that added to the teachers' work.
