With this project we wanted to highlight the importance of sport in promoting sustainability and environmental protection. It emphasised the role of youth in embracing sustainable practices and advocating for a greener future. We also tackled the negative impact of physical inactivity on both individual and societal well-being. The project had the following objectives: - To develop the topic of sustainability among participants and share best practices in this area at a European level. - To mitigate climate change by promoting sustainable, practical, and impactful solutions. - To develop a critical thinking mindset among participants and promote better practices for sustainable living. - To promote inclusion and diversity among the youth sector through sports. - To raise young people's awareness/understanding of environmental issues and offer them the opportunity to create change in their local communities. - To strengthen an integrity- and values-based sport in the EU. - To increase participation in sport and health-enhancing physical activity in order to promote an active and environmentally friendly lifestyle, social cohesion, and active citizenship. - To raise awareness of the important contribution that sport can make to Europe's socially and environmentally sustainable growth, digitalization, as well as recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and future resilience. - To intensify the dialogue and cooperation at EU level with the sport movement and other relevant stakeholders and institutions, both within and outside the field of sport and physical activity. - To promote the ERASMUS+ program, EU values, and participation in future activities through the use of non-formal education, while promoting its recognition through the YouthPass certificate. - To develop better attitudes among participants on the basis of EU values. - To promote the new ERASMUS+ Programme and its priorities aligned with a European Youth Strategy 2019-2027, the 11 Youth Goals, and the SDGs.
