Objectives

The purpose of the project was the digital innovation of the institution and the development of a modern education strategy through the training of teaching staff to optimize and modernize the educational process in an European context. To achieve the project's goal, teachers needed to discover modern and dynamic teaching methods and integrate digital technology into their lessons to make teaching as interactive as possible with practical outcomes for students. The project objectives were: - Development of digital skills for 10 teaching staff members from different curriculum areas until the end of the project - Improvement of teaching style for 3 foreign language teachers until the end of the project - Acquisition of innovative techniques in outdoor education and integration of digital resources into such activities for 2 teachers until the end of the project.

Background

The Erasmus project for teachers entitled "Enhanced Education through Innovative European Experiences" resulted from our school's concern to develop a modern and innovative education strategy aimed at bringing about a change at the level of our institution, in line with contemporary European standards. Following our analysis, we found discrepancies between the teaching styles of some teachers and the new areas of interest of students, indicating the need to incorporate the European dimension into our school's educational offerings to address this issue. The project represented an opportunity for the development of staff and, implicitly, our institution through the participation of 15 teachers from different curriculum areas in selected training courses and Job Shadowing activities tailored to the needs of the school and the candidates in an European environment.
