At the LTS level, we set out the development of a high-quality digital education ecosystem, which would meet the needs of the final beneficiaries: the students. Through the Erasmus+ program, by March 2024 we have set out to train a team of specialists in the use, adaptation and integration of ICT in the teaching of different subjects and the development of a work base that integrates pedagogies, methods and innovative teaching-learning-evaluation tools, such as and the efficiency of managerial and secretarial activities, to meet the current needs of students. The objectives of the project were: The development of digital skills for at least 12 teaching staff of LTS - class tutors, regarding the integration of new technologies in the didactic activity, until March. 2024; The development of digital skills for at least 4 people from the management and secretarial departments, aiming at the integration of new technologies in the institutional activity, until March. 2024; Increasing by 20% the capacity of LTS to integrate new technologies in daily activity, to meet the current needs of students and the community, until March. 2024; Improving school results for at least 30% of LTS students by March. 2024.
In 2022, LTS fully felt the effects produced by the pandemic context. The SWOT analyzes carried out by our institution highlighted the main persistent needs of LTS: concerning the institutional management, we encountered difficulties in terms of monitoring the activity of the teaching staff and students' attendance; ineffective communication with parents/community; the lack of effective integration of strategies and digital technologies in the curriculum; at the level of the secretariat department, difficulties were found in the preparation of current situations due to the blockages created by the inefficient use of new technologies. Teaching staff encountered difficulties in identifying and using digital tools that would be useful in their teaching activities, in order to increase students' interest and motivation for learning. Using the VENN diagram, we identified that the main problem was given by the fact that at the LTS level there is no integrated digital approach to the didactic and management activity, to meet the needs of the students. If we did not intervene immediately, the negative effects would have appeared: the students' low motivation for learning, poor school results or even dropout.
