The aim of the project was the efficient implementation of AI in the educational environment, with a focus on the creative use of integrative methods in the teaching process. For teachers, AI facilitates the rapid adaptation of the educational content and of the teaching-learning activities, while evaluation transcends the classic, inhibitory boundaries. The ultimate goal was to enhance the students’ learning experiences through the innovative integration of AI into school life and subsequently into everyday life. The project provided the opportunity for teachers to undergo advanced training programmes, courses oriented towards the acquisition and development of advanced digital skills. Teachers were trained in the use of new online collaborative technologies to improve the educational process. The application of these technologies will further enable the development and implementation of innovative extracurricular activities, aimed at motivating students for a successful career in the military field. Additionally, the project supported the application of these varied strategies, promoting students’ success in their integration in the military field, through an adaptive approach to their individual needs and aspirations.
“Tudor Vladimirescu” National Military High School (CNMTV) is a pre-university educational institution, vocational pathway, military profile, mathematics-computer science specialization. Since its re-establishment in 2016, the organization, which currently has 40 teachers, has been making efforts to be a modern, accessible school, adapting the educational process to the new technologies. In an era in which robots and other AI applications will trigger a new industrial revolution, a goal of the Romanian army is the implementation of AI at all levels. Therefore, military pre-university education must provide appropriate training. This project aims for a dynamic approach to military education, focused on students’ needs in order to create a motivating learning environment and to ensure equal opportunities. Access to the Internet has increased lately but technology in education has not kept pace with these developments. We took into consideration the fact that teachers did not benefit from such training and Teachers’ Training Centres did not provide AI courses, either. In implementing this project, we benefited from the guidance of the National Agency (AN), the support of the board of directors and of the commanding officer.
