The aim of this project was to promote the inclusion of students from disadvantaged groups by improving the professional competences of teachers working with disabled students. O1: developing ICT skills to facilitate the inclusion and prevention of cyberbullying of 6 teachers (trainers) - direct and 60 teachers - indirect (80% of the number of teachers) O2: training of integrated personal and social skills of 6 teachers - direct and 30 - indirectly organizing activities and lessons outdoors, creating a stimulating outdoor learning environment O3: acquisition of skills for 6 teachers in the application of non-formal education activities and techniques in different settings to encourage school and social inclusion O4: promoting school and social inclusion through the personal development of 12 students with hearing impairment aged12-16 through the use of inclusive communication, ICT and outdoor strategies
This project has emerged from an analysis of the needs that the pandemic context has emphasized: insufficient training of teachers in the proper use of ICT in activities with students with disabilities, although there are digital resources in school; the resistance of teachers both in the center/support teachers, but also from partner schools in using inclusive strategies in and outside the classroom, classes in the school center having a heterogeneous structure, and pupils with disabilities in ordinary schools having a passive presence, further focus on training academic skills at the expense of the prospect of disability as a source of learning behavior from the affective-attitudinal sphere for other pupils, the need for children with disabilities to spend quality time in the open air, by compensating for digital overexposure and lack of training for teachers in outdoor activities, the decrease in the number of deaf students and the need for a new approach for them.
