Objectives

Through this project we wanted to develop and start implementing a digital strategy at the school level by improving the digital skills of 11 teachers and 1 auxiliary teaching staff to increase the attractiveness of lessons, the degree of inclusion and access to learning for disadvantaged students. We set ourselves the following goals: - 5% increase in the passing rate for the Baccalaureate Exam in 2024 compared to 2022 by creating a digital library with recovery lessons for the lagging behind of high school students - Increasing the degree of inclusion among students from satisfactory to good in 2023-24 by using digital technology in the teaching-learning process and the digital evaluation of skills - Increasing interest in the European dimension of the school by 20% among teachers and by 10% among students and parents to stimulate the feeling of belonging to the European Union

Background

We are a technological high school with 716 students: 342 day high school, 210 vocational school, 90 evening high school and 174 post-high school, 435 from rural areas. At the day high school, most were admitted with grades below 6 and come from disadvantaged backgrounds: commuters 118, staying in dormitories of other high schools or with relatives 46, from single-parent families 66, with perents working abroad 22, with medical problems 17, orphans 19, below the minimum income 103, with CES 16. At least half fall into several categories. In the context of the return to normality after the Covid 19 Pandemic, we identified the need to develop the digital skills of teachers to create an online library, integrate digital content in lessons, use ICT in evaluation. In the medium and long term, the need to develop and implement a digital strategy for the school and to add a new European dimension to our school has emerged. At the school level, the management, the quality dept coordinator, the coordinator of educational projects and programs supported the implementation team by initiating meetings with parents, by applying questionnaires to students and teachers, and the school accountant ensured financial management.
