Following the completion of the SWOT analysis, the needs of our institution were identified, along with a series of opportunities to address them, among which the Erasmus+ program was included. Consequently, the writing and implementation of this project were decided upon. The project objectives were as follows: 1. Innovating teaching strategies (including those related to environmental sustainability) based on new technologies and educational electronic applications, by the end of the project, for 16 teachers. Through this objective, we proposed that 16 teachers acquire innovative teaching-learning-evaluation strategies to engage students in learning, motivate them for academic development, and raise awareness about the need to combat environmental changes. 2. Improving and diversifying teaching strategies for the inclusion and integration of students with SEN or from disadvantaged backgrounds, for 7 teachers, by the end of the project. Through this objective, we aimed to enhance and develop teaching-learning-evaluation strategies used to work with and integrate into the community students from disadvantaged backgrounds or with Special Educational Needs.
Our high school is an artistic profile high school that provides education to students aged between 11 and 18 years old. At the end of high school studies, students receive a level 4 professional competence certificate (technician for artistic techniques, technical draftsman for architecture and design), following the completion of a professional examination in one of the following specializations: painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphics, textile design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture. Students enroll in our high school after passing aptitude tests in drawing, painting, and modeling. Throughout the years of study, students acquire new artistic knowledge and skills and form a set of attitudes and values that will guide them in their future professional and personal lives. The majority of our graduates continue their studies at the university level, especially in the fields of fine arts and architecture, but also in other fields such as law, economics, landscaping, and others. The teachers of the high school are qualified in the specializations they teach and are eager for further professional development to improve their teaching and pedagogical competencies.
