By implementing the project, we wanted to fulfill the following objectives: O1. Development of managerial skills to prevent the phenomenon of early school leaving, for 6 teaching staff, over a period of 18 months O2. Increasing the personal and social skills of 2 teachers regarding outdoor education, through non-formal methods, in order to increase the learning motivation of 20% of the students, over a period of 18 months
Being a school from a disadvantaged neighborhood of the city and having many students with difficult situations that sometimes created problems during classes, having teachers who sometimes said that they could no longer find solutions regarding attracting students to school, we decided to carry out an analysis at the school level of where different needs were identified: - lack of optimal personal teaching-evaluation plans adapted to the needs of each student - the need for an innovative and inclusive didactic approach addressed to students from various social backgrounds - the need to combine elements of outdoor non-formal education in the context of formal education - the need to collaborate with organizations from abroad in order to achieve a real exchange of best practices. All these needs were aimed at increasing students' motivation, attracting them to school, changing the perception of learning and integrating students from disadvantaged backgrounds, preventing early school leaving. In addition, participation in such a project ensured the growth and internationalization of the educational act, but also increased visibility in the local and European community.
