With the implementation of the project, the 25 10th grade students from the agricultural field, participating in the internship held at Green Academy Aarhus, achieved their objective of improving their professional skills and developing transversal skills and . the ability to integrate in a European work context. Also, the director of the Tecuci National College of Agriculture and Economics improved his skills in the field of management and administration of a self-sustainable teaching farm. At the same time, the 4 specialized teachers in the agricultural field improved their professional skills regarding the work approaches specific to didactic farms.
The idea of the project started from the needs/problems identified at the school level - the increase in school dropouts, insufficient equipment in the teaching farm, the lack of training programs for specialized teachers, low interest of economic agents in carrying out internships - all in the context of the Covid pandemic. CNAE Tecuci is a VET school in the fields of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and Services, which in the context of European development objectives, has identified a potential European partner - Green Academy Aarhus - high school with experience in running international projects on the agricultural profile, as a result of the participation of our school staff in activities within a project developed and coordinated by it on the topic of education for sustainable development in agricultural education. After a series of meetings with school representatives and analyzing the availability of GA Aarhus training infrastructure, our school decided to submit an application to the Erasmus + 2022 call. The implementation team completed the project with the support of the EU and decision-makers at the level schools by providing the entire human and material infrastructure.
