Objectives

For this, the project involved an internship in which 15 students from our school were involved in training provided by a Spanish organization, Ada ITS Seville. The training internship represented an opportunity to cover the difference between the endowment with didactic and specialized logistics in the school and the level in the beneficiary structures, the students needing skills, abilities and real work experiences, in order to form an appropriate educational background which is a current interoperability requirement. In order to achieve these objectives, it was necessary for the activity to be carried out at standards as close as possible to the requirements of the current society, governed by continuous change.

Background

We are a post-secondary military school from the network of ARACIP-accredited state educational institutions, with technical specifics, focused on the training of technicians in the field of aviation. In our school, students are trained, becoming the future technicians who serve the aeronautical military technique within the Ministry of Defense and other beneficiaries from the national security and public order system. In the 2022-2023 school year, our school implemented an E+ VET project, carrying out a mobility with students from the first and second year of the Aircraft and Aviation Engines specialization, for practical internships, at Ada Insituto Tehnico Superior Sevilla, in Spain. By participating in the project, the students benefited from the access within a European institution to modern equipment and acquired skills, abilities and real work experience, to form key skills and an educational background corresponding to the current interoperability requirements. We consider that this experience has brought additional value to our institution but also to the national security and defense system in general.
