By implementing the Erasmus+ programme, the University of Oradea intended to apply the objectives/directives of the European Commission. The main objective was to support professional, educational and personal development of all participants to the programme. The intent is to reach a more flexible learning process, to increase course variety, and to develop digital competences of students and staff. The activities aimed at approaching topics lacking these skills, improving career orientation, and organising activities supporting the acquisition of transferable, entrepreneurial and digital abilities. Our university wishes to find a solution to the gaps and inconsistencies by promoting new innovative pedagogies, to create and develop new curricula meeting the needs of the students, while being relevant for the labour market and the needs of the society. At the same time, we pursue the promotion and rewarding of excellence in teaching and competence development, including the correlation between education, research and innovation, as well as the promotion of teaching and learning partnerships with the industry.
