At "Iuliu Hatieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Erasmus+ Programme is an important component of the internationalization strategy. Our University is proud to be a higher education institution that offers study programs at high-quality educational standards, enjoying several 3000 international students from Europe and other continents of the world who choose to study at our university in French and English study programs. The implementation of the present higher education mobility project is a continuation of projects successfully implemented in previous years, the main objectives being to provide learning and professional development opportunities for our students and staff, aiming at increasing the quality and number of mobilities. We aimed to strengthen the connections established through inter-institutional agreements with partner universities within the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of health sciences and to increase the number of academic mobilities for all specializations of study that we offer, managing to attract participants to outgoing mobilities from a wide range of fields of study (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Balneo-physio kinetic therapy and Recovery). Another objective of implementing the present Erasmus+ project was to provide learning and professional experiences of the highest quality and European standards to mobility participants (students and staff) from partner universities (incoming component). The international mobility of individuals is a key component of the internationalization process, which we want to continue to value and strengthen, making efforts to increase the volume and quality of exchanges carried out through the Erasmus+ Programme.
